We have programs designed for specific age groups and a wide variety of activities incorporated into each imaginative theme week. There are two or three out trips each week, including neighbourhood adventures: trips to the beach, local pools and parks/water parks. All of our Summer Camp Leaders are either Group Leaders at Hudson Child Care Society, or our regular substitutes. They are ECE and/or SACCA certified or equivalent. All staff members are trained in First Aid and have a variety of skills and talents to share with the kids to make their summer experience a memorable one!

HOURS: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
APPLICATION PERIOD & ELIGIBILITY
The application form will be open from May 1st to June 14th, or until spaces are filled. On May 1st, the application form will be open to Hudson Elementary students, and on May 15th to any school-age children regardless of their enrolled school. Unfortunately, 2024-2025 Kindergarteners are not eligible for a school-age program like ours, because they have not yet begun school, per Child Care Facilities Licensing standards.
LOCK-IN DEADLINES & CANCELLATIONS
After the lock-in dates, spaces will become very limited, schedule switching or additions will be subject to availability, and cancellations will be subject to the space being re-filled. Any schedule changes after the lock-in dates will incur a $10 administration fee per request. After you’ve submitted your application, any desired changes must be made via email to admin@hudsonchildcare.ca

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR EXISTING HUDSON CHILD CARE SOCIETY FAMILIES:
1. Complete the application form to provide some information about your family and the schedule of weeks/days that you would like child care.
2. Submit a $100 pre-payment via e-transfer.
3. As soon as (1) the form is complete and (2) we have received your e-transfer, your application will be considered for our summer program. We will follow-up with you within seven days of your completed application. Families who do not get accepted will receive a full refund of their pre-payment; families who are accepted will have their pre-payment applied to their August fees.
APPLICATION PROCESS FOR NEW FAMILIES NOT PREVIOUSLY ENROLLED WITH HCCS:
1. Complete the application to provide some information about your family and the schedule of weeks/days that you would like child care.
2. Submit a $100 pre-payment via e-transfer.
3. Once the form is complete and we have received your e-transfer, your application will be considered for our summer program. We will follow-up with you within seven days of your completed application. Families who do not get accepted will receive a full refund; families who are accepted will have their pre-payment applied to their August fees.
4. New families will then receive a full centre enrollment package, which must be returned within a week. Failure to complete the package on-time will cancel the child’s summer registration, because no child may attend our centre without a completed and verified enrollment package.
FEES and BILLING
For families with pre-existing debit agreements: July fees will be withdrawn in July, and August fees withdrawn in August, on either the 1st or 15th of each month, per your existing payment schedule.
All other families: please pay by e-transfer by July 1st for July care, including surcharges, and by August 1st for August care, including surcharges. Please let us know if you would like to apply for provincial child care subsidy for July and/or August.

Our office is open Monday to Friday from July 4, 2023 through September 1st, 2023. Our office will be closed July 3rd and August 7th.
We are a nut-free centre! Please refrain from packing lunches and/or snacks for your child which contain nut products.
